2010 Workshop Dates Announced ::
2010 is the year of the workshop for us. As I continue to re-brand our studio and take my photography into a new direction we have expanded the workshop to fill a few more dates and hit a few more cities for 2010. We are also getting on a few more airplanes and bringing the workshop to the UK and Iceland!
OneLight Workshop v. 3.0 ::
After compiling the most commonly asked questions before, during, and after a OneLight workshop, I have redeveloped the entire presentation to take the discussion of lighting deeper. The workshop up to this point has been an extension of the OneLight DVD. Along with a new presentation, OneLight attendees will now be getting a OneLight book that not only includes the lecture material but there are expanded sections with sample images, lighting diagrams, and additional resources. The book is only available to new OneLight attendees and will not be for sale.
Photo 101 :: Our New Workshop ::
So you wanna be a photographer? You have a camera. You might even have a web site. You kind of understand aperture priority and depth of field but your technical foundation sort of stops there. I’ve created an intense three day workshop just for you. Having passion for the craft of photography is fantastic but it isn’t enough. As our market continues to get saturated you are going to see that those with talent are going to rise to the top and those without will continue to fill Craig’s List with new listings every 60 seconds. :) You need to have a very solid understanding of the nuts and bolts of making photographs and that is what you will be learning at this workshop.
This is not a “How to use a camera for family vacation photos” workshop. While we get down to the basics it won’t be conducted in a very dry and academic way.
